SACRED ENVIRONMENTS FOR THE WEB ( SEW )

INTERNATIONAL RESEARCH DEVELOPMENT AND CREATION PROJECT IN THE DIGITAL HUMANITIES

Sacred Environments for the Web, International 3D Web Environments.

SITES

The SEW Open Source Cooperative believes all of existence -- planet earth, solar system, galaxy and the many worlds -- are sacred. In addition to natural creation, cultural creations and their components are also sacred. The following incomplete and evolving list expresses the wish for the establishment of Sacred Environments for the Web. The primary intent in establishing the list is to create three dimensional internet environments which contain the essence of each sacred site and allow for contemplation of the entire massive environment and its elements. The SEW Open Source Cooperative explores individual locations and the elements that define the site. The elements are both natural and cultural and include site specific and earth characteristics. The SEW site list includes: downloadable locations, mountains, major earth sites, biomes and biodiversity hotspots.
